“Charlamigo” is a word we invented that combines “Charlar (to chat)” and “amigo”.  It’s like a “Penpal” that you actually get to talk with live!  
 
The idea is to practice language through making friends with a native speaker.  
 
The native speakers are people in need of income  working for causes to improve the lives of migrants and many are migrants or asylum seekers themselves stuck in limbo in a shelter in Tijuana unable to work.
