Cynthia Ramírez is a Communications major with a Masters in Transdisciplinary Studies for Sustainability.

 

Tijuanense, socio-environmental activist and director of the collective Cultiva Ya! in Tijuana, Mexico. Consultant and eco-literacy worker for various organizations, institutions and projects regarding environmental issues, conscious eating and sustainable living. She has specialized in participatory frameworks with community-based social organizations and collaborative agroecological networks of independent producers in the country.

 

She teaches Sustainability at Culinary Art School. Lives and works in Tijuana.

 

On migration: like birds; sometimes the place where we are born is not our territory, and it is necessary to leave home, to grow and spread our wings; or just move to be safe and secure. We are all migrants.
